Child Protective Services

  • Child Protective Services (CPS) strive to ensure safety, permanent, nurturing families for children by protecting them from abuse and neglect while attempting to preserve the family unit. CPS may provide families with services to address substance abuse, domestic violence and/or mental health issues impacting the family.
  • Child Protective Services (CPS) responds to reports from the community regarding the abuse, neglect, and/or dependency of children by their caretakers.
  • CPS provides In-Home Services to support and strengthen families where neglect or abuse occurred or there was high potential risk that it my occur.
